CanAm and the State of Hawaii’s Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) are pleased to announce that the Hawaii Regional Center was reaffirmed by USCIS on October 30, 2008. The Hawaii Regional Center will greatly benefit target industries in Hawaii as well as give EB-5 investors exciting new investment opportunities to obtain EB-5 visa status. Reaffirmation of the Hawaii Regional Center as an economic development vehicle will generate tens of thousands of full-time equivalent jobs in Hawaii and millions of dollars in economic output for the state.

CanAm, the exclusive administrator of the Hawaii Regional Center, is confident that we will be able to provide the same exciting investment opportunities through the Hawaii Regional Center as we have been able to through our other regional centers. Based on a reputation of credibility and trust, we are fully committed to providing comprehensive services to our clients. We will see each immigrant investor through the complete immigration process: from the selection of an investment project for the initial application to receiving a permanent green card.

The investment structure for the Hawaii Regional Center’s projects will be almost identical to that of our other regional centers.

OUR ADVANTAGES

Our Experience:

We have nearly 20 years of experience in immigrant investor visa programs, both in the U.S. and abroad including the PIDC Regional Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Regional Center with the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) in western Pennsylvania and the Los Angeles Film Regional Center in Los Angeles, California. We have a staff with in-depth knowledge of the latest immigration procedures and requirements related to the Program.

Our Projects:

All our projects are with reputable Hawaii businesses, each with strong financial standing and committed to creating new jobs in the State of Hawaii.

Our Relationship with DBEDT:

All our projects are reviewed and recommended by DBEDT, the official economic development agency of the State of Hawaii. DBEDT has many years of experience developing economic initiatives to create and retain jobs for the State of Hawaii.

Our job creation methodology:

Most of our projects are based on direct job creation, which are new, full-time jobs to the State of Hawaii. Each project is required to provide a detailed job creation forecast based on a business plan specifying its employment needs, which are carefully reviewed and evaluated by DBEDT and CanAm prior to their recommendation of the project to the Hawaii Regional Center. Throughout the life of the project, these direct jobs are closely monitored using detailed job reporting forms and supplemented by the project’s employment records. Indirect job creation is based on these new, direct jobs.
